Epic Montreux: a new home for epic music in Montreux, Switzerland

2WEI is a Hamburg-based composer collective and music production house founded by Simon Heeger and Christian Vorländer in 2016, known for epic, cinematic trailer music. Their tracks have scored over 500 game trailers - including League of Legends, Call of Duty, and Assassin's Creed - and were performed live at LoL Worlds in front of audiences of up to 160 million. With hundreds of millions of streams and 590k+ YouTube subscribers, 2WEI ranks among the world's most successful epic music artists.

Their catalogue is reworked for full orchestra and choir across the programme — 2WEI are not performing live on stage.

EDDA HAYES

Edda Hayes is a boundary-blurring pop artist and songwriter with a voice that moves effortlessly between raw intimacy and unapologetic attitude. Emerging with a distinctive visual identity using her signature mask, she quickly carved out a space for herself in the cinematic pop landscape.

She performed at the 2022 League of Legends World Championships opening ceremony alongside Jackson Wang and Lil Nas X. Her music has been featured in video games, trailers and digital campaigns including League of Legends, Marvel and Tomb Raider, reaching international audiences and establishing her as a trusted creative partner for visual media projects.

TALE OF FANTASY ORCHESTRA

Founded in 2019 and based in Lausanne, Tale of Fantasy Orchestra brings together semi-professional and professional musicians trained in Switzerland around the Epic Music repertoire. It provides a platform for artistic and professional development, fostering emerging talent and supporting musicians’ growth through ambitious projects that contribute to the recognition and promotion of Epic Music.

TALE OF FANTASY CHOIR

Founded in 2017, Tale of Fantasy Choir brings together amateur singers from across the Lake Geneva region, united by a shared passion for Epic Music. Open to a wide range of profiles, the choir fosters the joy of singing together, a strong sense of community and artistic ambition through both choral and symphonic projects.

ALEXANDRE PICAN

Alexandre Pican is a choral conductor, EPFL-trained engineer, and the founder of Tale of Fantasy, Switzerland’s first collective dedicated to Epic Music. As the Founder, General Manager & Artistic Director of Helvepic and the creative force behind Epic Montreux, he has led hundreds of singers and musicians through film, game and trailer music, bringing the genre from score to stage.

SÉBASTIEN WAGNIÈRES

Originally from the canton of Vaud, Sébastien Wagnières is a Swiss conductor and media engineer whose artistic path has been shaped by a deep connection to Epic Music, film and video game. He gained international experience as Assistant Conductor with Orchestra Toronto in Canada. Since co-founding Tale of Fantasy Orchestra in 2019, he has served as its Principal Conductor and Orchestra Manager, bringing together artistic vision, communication and management while placing the connection between musicians, music and audience at the heart of his work.
